Biography
Sharon Martin has been practicing law since 1978 and is a senior partner at Martin Dupont LLP. She focuses on Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Family Law, Mediation and Collaborative law, as well as Business Law for small enterprises.
In Real Estate Law Sharon has dealt with a diverse group of clients. Ranging anywhere from the brand new home buyer to large new home construction companies. She has maintained some of these relationships for over 30 years helping with their Real Estate transactions daily.
Sharon has also been practicing Mediation and Collaborative law since 1987 when training in this area of law was first locally presented. She is a strong believer in negotiating settlements of disputes. She will use this approach in her family law practices as well as with civil matters, such as business disputes. Sharon is a member of the Collaborative Professionals of Saskatchewan Association.
Sharon has maintained her Canadian Bar Association membership since 1978. She has helped organize two Bar Association conventions. Sharon has also served as the Secretary, Treasurer and President of the Regina Branch of the Saskatchewan CBA Real Property and Wills section for many years. Sharon has been involved with various other CBA sub-committees within the legal field. Her most recent volunteer work in support of her profession involves sitting on Hearing Committees for professional complaints for the Law Society.
